These works are a bridge between my life in Montana and the here and now on the Northern California Coast. They all were started while living in Bozeman, MT-most as demonstration pieces for Encaustic painting workshops. In the upheaval of our unanticipated move they were packed away, and now that I have my studio in Eureka set up, I’m pulling them out and infusing my life on the coast into them. They are a unique set of paintings, once these paintings have all been revisited I will close out this series.
